Bridget Hartman

Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee

Major: Medicine, Health, and Society

Currently: A sophomore at Vanderbilt University

Impact of the Scholarship: The RAK scholarship has provided me with the flexibility to explore many different career paths at my university, not only from a financial standpoint but through a networking standpoint as well. The Koranda family has provided me with the contact information of many successful individuals in the fields I have considered, allowing me to make sure that I can find my passion as well as making connections with potential employers post graduation!

NNHS Experience: I am very fortunate to have had an amazing high school experience. Being involved in both sports and extracurriculars enhanced my appreciation for Naperville North, and it is so humbling to know that I was recognized for this in the same way that Rob was. Knowing that my high school involvement and enjoyment were recognized by the Koranda family is an immense honor and I am extremely thankful not only to them for their generosity, but to Naperville North for being an amazing place where I was able to explore my passions and immerse myself in such a welcoming community.

Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee

Major: Special Education and Child Development

Currently: A sophomore at Vanderbilt University

Impact of the Scholarship: This past year, at both the interview process, awards ceremony, and the golf outing, it was surreal to be a part of a group of such highly accomplished and genuinely kind people. I won't soon forget the values that this organization stands for, and I feel I am a better student, friend, son, and leader because of the people in my corner. Thank you to everyone in the RAK family who has continued this scholarship!
